114 Linden St
Updated On: Oct 17, 2015

PFD firefighters respond quickly to keep a large exterior fire from entering the dwelling at 114 Linden St. this evening. A first alarm assignment brought Engines 3, 5 and 1, Tower 1 and the Deputy Chief to the scene within 3 minutes of the alarm, a total 12 firefighters. Fire started on a rear deck and quickly spread up the siding, threatening to enter the structure, while both up and downstairs apts were occupied. Two remaining engine companies (2 & 6) covered the remainder of the city answering several calls for service during fireground operations. No injuries were reported to occupants or PFD personnel and tenants in both apartments were allowed to reoccupy the structure due to the quick response and efforts of PFD personnel.
